The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Fence is an effective containment system for stubborn and determined large dogs weighing 15kgs and up. Suitable for hard to train dogs that are more determined to escape.

The dog fence kit comes with a transmitter, boundary wire, and a receiver collar as its main components. The fence transmitter should be placed in a dry, well ventilated, protected area as the wire runs from it and creates a loop around your property, then back to the transmitter again - making a complete setup.

The PetSafe Stubborn Dog Fence Transmitter emits a very low-frequency radio signal. The range can be controlled or adjusted from up to thirty feet by the boundary width control knob located on the dog fence transmitter.

The transmitter is also equipped with a wire break alarm system that alerts you of any damaged boundary wire. This allows you to secure your pet before he escapes your property.

The PetSafe dog fence kit comes with a PRF-275-19 Receiver Collar that is enclosed in a waterproof case and is mounted on a polycarbonate collar. It fits in a dog with a neck size varying from 9 to 22 inches.

The receiver collar has 4 total levels of high output corrections that give a harmless but effective short static simulation to your dog. It runs on a replaceable 9V battery that lasts for 3-6 months with average use.

Both transmitter and receiver collar comes with a 3 year warranty.

The kit includes a 150m boundary wire that is enough to cover 1/4 of an acre. The system is capable of enclosing up to 10 acres - with additional boundary wires.

The dog fence receiver collar uses a replaceable 9V Alkaline Battery that may last up to 6 months. Replacing the battery is easy and is detailed in the Owner’s Manual.
