Queensland Menacing Dog Sign 

Every owner who owns a menacing dog in Queensland state has to comply with the requirements of the Animal Management (Cats and Dogs) Act 2008 - one of these requirements is to secure and display Menacing Dog Signs on doorways and gateways of the property to alert people that a Menacing Dog resides in the area. 

If this requirement has not complied, the menacing dog owner will face hefty fines and even imprisonment. 

Features Of QLD Menacing Dog Sign 

• Built with a durable and high-quality corflute material to comply with the Regulation

• Be in a white rectangle measuring 360 mm mm by 260 mm; and, complying with the Regulation. 

• Contain the words “BEWARE – MENACING DOG” in black capital letters 50 mm high on a yellow background with black border); complying with the Regulation.

• Contains the words “declared under the Animal Management (Cats and Dogs) Act 2008, chapter 4” measuring 15mm in height; and

• Words are Indelible, Legible and Black in colour

• Includes mounting holes for installation.
