Tasmania Dangerous Dog Sign 

Every owner who owns a declared dangerous dog in Tasmania state must comply with the requirements of the Dog Control Act 2000  - one of these requirements is to secure and display Dangerous Dog Signs on doorways and gateways of the property to alert people that a dangerous dog resides in the area. 

If this requirement has not complied, the dangerous dog owner will face hefty fines and even imprisonment. 

Features Of Tasmania Dangerous Dog Sign 

• Built with a durable and high-quality METAL material to comply with the Regulation

• Must contain at least one colour that REFLECTS LIGHT in the dark

• Is in the shape of a square with sides that are 40 cm in length; complying with the Regulation. 

• Contain across the circle referred to in paragraph (d) the words “DANGEROUS DOG” in Black capital letters.

• Includes mounting holes for installation.
