The dangerous dog collar is specially made to identify declared dangerous, menacing dogs, and restricted dog breeds across Australia. The red and yellow stripes are designed to alert people that the dog wearing the collar is a dangerous dog or a restricted dog breed. 

Dangerous Dog Collars are only to be worn by Dogs that have been declared Dangerous by a Local Authority. The Dangerous Dog Collars are for display purposes only as a warning sign. They are not recommended to be used to secure/Tether a dog or used as a collar for leading a dog.

Dangerous Dog Collar Size Requirement Based On Dog’s Weight As Required By The Regulations: 

• Extra Small - dogs with less than 10kgs , the collar must have 15 mm minimum width (we provide the collar at 15mm width x 23cm to 36cm length).

• Small - dogs weighing between 10kgs and 20 kgs, the collar must have 25 mm minimum width (we provide the collar at 25mm width x 33cm - 45cm length). 

• Medium - dogs weighing between 20kgs and 40 kgs, the collar must have 40 mm minimum width  (we provide the collar at 40mm x 40cm - 55 length).

• Large - dogs weighing between 20kgs and 40 kgs, the collar must have 50 mm minimum width  (we provide the collar at 50mm x 40cm - 55 length).

• Extra Large - dogs weighing more than 40kgs, the collar must have 50 mm minimum width (we provide the collar at 50mm width x 51cm - 72cm length).
